Truth?
The quote reflects the timeless resilience of truth. Truth is a constant and endless. No matter how thick the clouds of deceit are, truth always shine with unwavering brilliance. To me, truth is supreme - deep as the divine, vast as infinity, and as unshakable and endless as the Jyotirlinga. It remains whatever it is, does not change according to convenience or circumstance. It is the ultimate force, greater even than the supreme being of our highest imagination and beyond reach of thoughts.
Truth and justice are universal, they are beyond human constructs and transcend earthly understandings. They existed before the dawn of civilizations, before the first stars ignited - before even the Biggest Bang. Truth is beyond time and orgin. It existed before the first light, and even before the very first moment of creation. It is the core principle that sustain reality, and the same force that awakened Siddhartha.
Imagery
The artwork speaks this idea through the ethereal figure of Lady Justice, radiant amidst the backdrop of dark, turbulent clouds. She is depicted as the sun itself, crowned with the symbolism of balance and fairness. The clouds represent the dark forces (lies, cruelty, anger, stubbornness, the misuse of power) that seek to distort the truth. These forces may be strong and consuming, but they pass; the light lasts forever.
The fiery “Phoenix” wings denote rebirth, resilience, and the unyielding nature of truth. Just as the phoenix rises from its own ashes, truth shines behind every trial. The phrases "burial of truth" or "rise of truth" are avoided intentionally, 'Truth' can neither be buried nor rise because it was never gone. Then why the Phoenix reference? To relate to the familiar human perception of renewal and emergence. Actually, Truth is not something that ‘wins’ in the end. Ask me why? Because it never truly loses. It exists beyond the notions of defeat or victory.
The artwork also breaks a long-standing paradox. The sun is viewed as masculine from the very beginning, but here I embody it in the feminine form of Lady Justice. This is intentional. The blending of masculine energy with the feminine form (compassion, creation, and fairness) is to reflect the 'truth' that men and women are reflections of each other, equally capable of embodying supreme power, wisdom, and sacredness.
It challenges the long-standing societal perception of women as weak or subordinate. By portraying the masculine sun as the feminine Lady Justice, I honor the sacredness of womanhood - pay homage to her divine power of creation and her strength in upholding righteousness.
The Final Truth
Lies may temporarily obscure reality, power may suppress justice, falsehood may dominate - but none of these are permanent. Truth needs no victory, because it is the victory itself. The essence of the quote is simple: despite the trials we face, the truth on our side is always shining behind, just as the sun remains fierce and bright behind the heaviest clouds. So never give up Hope, where 'Truth' actually resides. When unveiled, it illuminates everything it touches.
